Lamb Kofta & Spicy Tomato Dip

Lamb Kofta & Spicy Tomato Dip

Ingredients:
200 grams Minced Lamb
1 Small brown Onion, chopped
2 cloves Garlic, crushed
1 small red Chilli, sliced
1 tsp Tumeric
1 tsp Ground Coriander
½ tsp Paprika (smoked)
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tbsp fresh coriander
Lemon Juice ½ Lemon
Pinch of Salt

Method:
Mix all of the above together in a bowl, roll out into bit size balls and place into an oven proof dish. Place into a pre-heated oven on 180C for 30 minutes. There is no need to use any oil as the meat has enough oil. If there is too much oil in the dish, drain this as this will make the balls soggy. Shake the meatballs from time to time. These are great served with a spicy Tomato Dip

Spicy Tomato Dip
Ingredients:
3 Cloves Garlic
3 small red chilli’s
¼ preserved lemon
1 400g can of tomatoes
Seasoning
½ cup fresh coriander

Method:
Place all of the above into a blender and blend well. Serve cold with the Lamb Kofta meatballs
