Gambas Pil Pil
All of the below ingredients are per serving. You'll need to use the below as a base per serving.
Ingredients:
big handful of prawns per person - raw, peeled and deveined!!
4 tablespoons Olive Oil
1/2 to 1 Red Chilli
3/4 cloves of Garlic
1 tablespoons Parsley
3 tablespoons of Dry White Wine
1/4 teaspoon of Paprika
Lots of bread for mopping...
Method:
Place all of the above (minus the prawns) into a clay or small ovenproof dish at least an hour before cooking.
Three ways of doing this is:
1. Place all (minus prawns) in the dish and place into a very hot oven until it starts to bubble. Once buddling, turn off the oven, add prawns until they change colour and serve sizzling.
2. Place all (minus prawns) in the dish and place onto a hot stove until bubbling (cannot be a flat stove, has to be gas)
2. Fry all (minus prawns) in a frying pan and fry until bubbling. Meanwhile, place the empty dishes into the oven to get them very hot.
