Chicken Tikka – Butter Chicken
Ingredients:
500 grams of Chicken, cut into bite size pieces
1 tbsp Tomato Puree
Marinade
1 tbsp Coriander Powder
1 tbsp Cumin Powder
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tbsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Fenugreek leaves (seeds grounded)
1 tbsp White Vinegar
½ cup Yogurt
½ cup Cream
Red Food Color
1 inch grated Ginger
2 Garlic cloves, grated
Method:
Marinade all of above for a minimum of one house, place under a heated grill and grill the chicken until browned and cooked. This can be made easier by placing the chicken pieces onto skewers. Heat up some butter in a pan. Saute the chicken in the butter and remove. In the remaining butter, add the pureed onions and garlic and fry gently for around 20 minutes, add some tomato puree, return the chicken to the pan and heat through for 10 minutes.
