Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients:
400 grams Beef Strips
1 small brown Onion, chopped
1 tbsp tomato puree
2 Cloves Garlic, crushed
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
¼ cup red wine
½ cup Beef Stock
¼ cup Sour Cream
10 Small button Mushrooms, left whole
1 tbsp fresh Parsley
Seasoning
Method:
Heat a little oil in a pan and cook the onion and garlic until soft. Increase the heat and add the beef strips until brown. Add the smoked paprika, tomato puree, beef stock and red wine – bring to a rapid boil and cook for 4- 5 minutes. Reduce the heat and cook for 30 minutes. Add the mushrooms and sour cream and cook for a further 10 minutes. Stir in the parsley and season to taste and serve with Taglitelle pasta, cooked according to the packet instructions, allow approximately 150grams per person.
